STUDIOGI
StudioGi is an architecture firm focused on space as the outline of a plot. Space is structured by means of a few distinct elements. One then completes the architecture of that space by the very act of inhabiting or using it.
The poetry of space replaces the poetry of style, to reach life: form is dead, space is alive. People don’t observe. They are emotionally involved.
This is an architecture of surprise.
StudioGi was founded in Milan in 2016 by Poé Matteo George. He received his Master’s degree with honours in architecture and has worked with several architecture firms such as Allies and Morrison Architects in London, Teehouse Architects in Japan and Scandurra Studio Architettura in Milan, with which he has an ongoing collaboration. He has worked with different scales, typologies and approaches. Among the projects he has contributed to, are masterplans (such as London Olympics 2012), projects for big events (like ExpoGate for Expo 2015), retail design (Jins eyewear new concept store), office buildings for international developers.
StudioGi undertakes projects at different scales and, thanks to its network of highly qualified consultants, is able to provide a fully integrated service.
