SMALL HOUSE IN TUSCANY

Project description

The project is the renovation of a small, ruined 18th century warehouse in Tuscany. The building is positioned on a slope, and it was decided that access should be from above, taking full advantage of opportunities for glimpses of the landscape below.

The house is accessed from the street via a stairway. On arrival, one has a clear view of the whole horizon above the building. While descending the stairs, this view is filtered by the openings in the walls, before one can finally enjoyed it again in full from the house or the front garden.
